ToscanaInContemporanea: siamo stati finanziati per il I anno
Siamo lieti di informarvi che il progetto Les chemins du bleu en Europe, pensato dalla curatrice Gaia Pasi per la 47°edizione della rassegna di arte contemporanea Forme nel Verde è stato finanziato dalla Regione Toscana attraverso il Bando ToscanaInContemporanea2017 dedicato ai giovani artisti under 35.
“E’ la prima volta che riceviamo questo finanziamento, anche perchè è la prima volta che tentiamo di avvicinarci ai giovani e trasformare la nostra rassegna in un appuntamento utile alla formazione degli artisti emergenti, ma anche alla popolazione, per restare aggiornata sui fatti dell’arte e della cultura attuale” ha detto Ugo Sani, assessore alla cultura del Comune di San Quirico.
Abbiamo incontrato anche la curatrice Gaia Pasi: “Sono fiduciosa, questo finanziamento è indubbiamente un passo avanti; se la Regione ci ha finanziato, vuol dire che ci sta guardando e che le piace la direzione che abbiamo preso. In verità mancano progetti sulla didattica post accademica ,sul posizionamento nel lavoro per i giovani creativi in Toscana, progetti che uniscano le due Accademie in una situazione strategica, di livello internazionale come una rassegna storica, capace di fornire uno sbocco reale al loro lavoro.
Un progetto di questo tipo può essere utile a riempire questa falla a creare una nuova piattaforma di scambio, confronto, incontro tra giovani e Istituzioni, italiane ed europee, e può essere utile a San Quirico come Skulptur Projeckte lo è per Munster, per contare al tavolo della cultura internazionale del presente. La Regione non a caso sta andando verso progetti sostenibili, utili ai territori, alla formazione di addetti e fruitori, progetti capaci di stabilizzarsi, crescere, fare rete e di trovare nuove economie, anche in autonomia, anno dopo anno.
La cosa fondamentale è dare continuità ai progetti che si avviano, altrimenti si rischia di fare una mole di lavoro immensa per poi vederla vanificata o peggio si rischia di ricadere nell’oblio della mediocrità dell’evento “tanto fatto per fare”. Forme nel Verde è una rassegna consolidata ma ha perso di appeal negli anni, l’interesse di media e addetti è calato, va quindi risollevata e in questo senso sarebbe opportuno darle un nuovo carattere, più utile, strategico e sensato. Dopo quest’ultima edizione credo che Forme nel Verde sia ad un bivio, staremo a vedere”.

A project of this kind can be useful to fill this gap, creating new platform for exchange, comparison, and meeting between youths and institutions, both Italian and European, that can be useful to San Quirico as the Skulptur Projeckte is for Munster, to look at the laying field of current international cultureì. It is also no coincidence that the Region is moving towards sustainable projects, useful for its territory through the training of employees and users, projects capable of stabilising, growing, networking and finding new economies, even independent ones throughout the years.
What is fundamental is giving the project continuity, otherwise there is a risk of doing an immense amount of work and seeing it ruined or worse, of falling into the mediocre oblivion of “all that has to be done, has been done”.
