FORME NEL VERDE 2018: “Pause tra caos e armonia” presentato il progetto nelle Accademie
E’ stato presentato il focus di Forme nel Verde 2018 , alle Accademie di Belle Arti di Carrara e di Firenze, per il secondo anno partner della rassegna giunta alla sua 48°edizione.
Il progetto “Pause: tra Caos e Armonia”, prende ispirazione da un appunto di F. Nietzsche, nel quale il filosofo sostiene che “c’è qualcosa nell’arte, come nella natura del resto, che ci rassicura, e qualcosa che invece ci tormenta, ci turba, due sentimenti eterni in perenne lotta; la ricerca dell’ordine, e il fascino del caos. Dentro questa lotta abita l’uomo, e ci siamo noi tutti, ordine e disordine. Cerchiamo regole, forme, canoni ma non cogliamo mai il reale funzionamento del mondo, È per gli uomini un eterno mistero. L’incapacità di risolvere questo mistero ci terrorizza, ci costringe a oscillare tra la ricerca di un’armonia impossibile e l’abbandono al caos”.

Da questa riflessione, nasce l’idea di sfruttare la particolare struttura architettonica degli Horti Leonini, per costruire un percorso fatto di pause multisensoriali, visive e sonore: un’esperienza totale, attraverso la quale lo spettatore dovrebbe giungere ad una consapevolezza più profonda di sé stesso, della natura e dell’arte e a cogliere l’essenza dell’equilibrio che esiste tra caos e armonia. In quest’ottica si è tentato di sviluppare un itinerario diviso in tappe segnate da note e rumori provenienti da strumenti inventati, oggetti, istallazioni e sculture “suonanti” al naturale: vento, pioggia, energia solare. Perché? Le note ci invitano in queste pause ad ascoltarci, a guardarci intorno ma prima ancora a guardarci dentro e a riprendere fiato per continuare il “percorso”. Ad ogni pausa, s’incrocieranno altri interventi immersi nella natura, ma li gusteremo più tardi: dopo l’ascolto arriva la comprensione, dopo esserci guardati bene intorno incominciamo a vedere i dettagli, dopo il sacrificio della ricerca, arrivano le scoperte e l’equilibrio che stiamo cercando. Conclude il percorso negli Horti Leonini, il progetto Eternity (2018) di Maurizio Cattelan, che prevede l’installazione di oltre 150 lapidi realizzate da altrettanti studenti dell’Accademia di Carrara, dedicate a noti artisti del passato e del presente, a formare un provocatorio cimitero, che riflette anche ironicamente sulla morte, sul trapasso fisico, sull’eternità data dalla fama raggiunta in vita dagli artisti, sul caos provocato dalle loro opere e l’armonia che affiora dal loro silenzio.
Per le sale del museo di Palazzo Chigi, il progetto prevede l’allestimento di una mostra collettiva di oltre 40 pezzi tra pittura e fotografia, che affrontano il rapporto tra l’Uomo e la Natura, il Caos e l’Armonia, lo scontro e l’incontro di passioni forti e contrastanti, analizzate da svariati punti di vista, con diverse linee di ricerca, materiali e tecniche di sperimentazione.
Programma:
Per la 48 edizione (28 luglio -28 settembre) di FORME NEL VERDE 2018 saranno presentate al pubblico le opere di 200 giovani artisti under 35 italiani ed internazionali, studenti delle due Accademie di Belle Arti toscane, selezionati attraverso incontri (effettuati con cadenza settimanale dal 1 aprile al 30 giugno) tenutisi tra gli studenti e i professori delle Accademie, la curatrice Gaia Pasi, e i referenti del progetto per le Accademie prof. Valeria Bruni (Accademia di Belle Arti Firenze) e prof. Luciano Massari (Accademia di Belle Arti di Carrara).
Grazie all’ospitalità del Comune di San Quirico e quindi alla residenza degli artisti sul territorio dal 20 al 31 luglio (coinvolti nella realizzazione dei lavori site specific, delle istallazioni, degli allestimenti, delle performance e per l’inaugurazione dell’evento) è stato possibile programmare lo svolgimento di due Workshop, della durata di 4 giorni ciascuno:
il primo (21/26 luglio) sarà condotto dall’artista Andrea Dalle Ave, che dirigerà gli studenti alla produzione di opere realizzate con elementi reperiti esclusivamente in loco o meglio in natura, quali foglie, rami, terra, pietre, che saranno “riciclati” per produrre le figure umane, d’animali e le altre istallazioni a grandezza vero, che animeranno il parco;
Il secondo (29/31 luglio), sarà tenuto dall’artista Edoardo Malagigi, e sarà dedicato all’utilizzo dei rifiuti nell’arte; Malagigi noto esperto in materia, non solo introdurrà agli studenti una delle tematiche più scottanti dell’attualità e dell’arte contemporanea – in grado di stupirci per risvolti, contenuti e tecniche di realizzazione – ma produrrà, con gli studenti, un’opera collettiva, anch’essa realizzata con materiali di recupero e di scarto.
Con l’intento di dare continuità tra quanto allestito all’interno degli Horti Leonini e il Palazzo Chigi – in accordo con la Soprindenza di Siena – verranno prodotti (20/28 luglio) dagli studenti, dei lavori di Street poster art (removibili), nelle strade del Centro Storico e nelle zone limitrofe per avvicinare grandi e piccini all’arte contemporanea.
Per i giorni sabato 28 e domenica 29 luglio è stata prevista una piccola rassegna di n. 4 performance ripetibili, che gli studenti terranno ad orari prestabiliti, in luoghi strategici del paese con lo scopo di coinvolgere il pubblico nei fatti della mostra e in altri aspetti della contemporaneità come possono esserlo l’identità e il rispetto della natura.
Nel mese di settembre le cattedre di fotografia e grafica delle Accademie lavoreranno produzione del catalogo che sarà presentato entro la fine di ottobre.

The theme of the 2018 Forme nel Verde was presented at the Academies of Fine Arts of Carrara and Florence, this is the second time in a row in which the Academies have partnered up with the exhibition that now in its 48th edition.
The project ”Pause:
With this in mind, an idea was born to exploit the particular architectural structure of Horti Leonini, building a path made of multi sensory, visual and sound pauses: an immersive experience, through which the viewer should reach a deeper awareness of themselves, nature, and art. and grasp the essence of the balance that exists between chaos and harmony. Through this perspective we aim to develop an itinerary that is divided into stages marked by notes and noises from invented instruments, objects, installations and sculptures that all “play” naturally under the influences of wind, rain, solar energy. Why? Because these notes invite us into these pauses to listen to ourselves, to look around ourselves, to look inside ourselves before all that, and catch our breaths before continuing the “path”. At each breaking point, naturally immersed interventions will cross each other, but we will enjoy them later: after listening comes understanding, after looking around we begin to see the details, after the sacrifice of research, come the discoveries and balance that we are looking for. Maurizio Cattelan’s Eternity (2018) project at Horti Leonini concludes the journey with the installation of more than 150 tombstones by students of the Carrara Academy, dedicated to famous artists of the past and present, forming a provocative cemetery that also ironically reflects on death, on the physical passage, on the eternity given by the fame achieved by the artists in their lives, on the chaos caused by their works and the harmony that emerges from their silence.
Rooms of the Palazzo Chigi museum foresees the setting up of a collective exhibition of more than 40 pieces of painting and photography, which deal with the relationship between Man and Nature, Chaos and Harmony, the clash and the encounter of strong and contrasting passions, analysed from different points of view, with different lines of research, materials and techniques of experimentation.

For the 48th edition (28 July -28 September) of the 2018 FORME NEL VERDE, the works of 200 young (under 35) Italian and international artists, students of the two Tuscan Academies of Fine Arts, selected through meetings (held weekly from 1 April to 30 June) between the students and professors of the Academies, curator Gaia Pasi, and contacts of the project for the Academies: Prof. Valeria Bruni (Academy of Fine Arts Florence) and Prof. Luciano Massari (Academy of Fine Arts Carrara), will be presented to the public.
Thanks to the hospitality of the Municipality of San Quirico and therefore to the residence of the artists on the territory from 20 to 31 July (involved in the realization of the site-specific works, installations, performances and the inauguration of the event) it was possible to plan the development of two Workshops, lasting 4 days each:
the first (21-26 July) will be conducted by artist Andrea Dalle Ave, who will direct the students to the production of works made with organic materials found exclusively on site, such as leaves, branches, dirt, or stones, which will be “recycled” to produce human figures, animals and other life size installations to animate the park;
The second (29-31 July), will be held by rtist Edoardo Malagigi, and will be dedicated to the use of waste materials in art; Malagigi, a well-known expert in the field, will not only introduce students to one of the hottest issues in current affairs and contemporary art – surprising us with its implications, content, and techniques of realization – but will also produce, with the students, a collective work, made with recycled and waste materials.
To give continuity between what is set up inside Horti Leonini and Palazzo Chigi – in agreement with the Soprindenza of Siena – works of Street poster art (removable) will be produced (20-28 July) by students, in the streets of the historical city center and in the surrounding areas to bring the young and old closer to contemporary art.
On Saturday the 28th and Sunday the 29th of July, a small review of 4 performances have been scheduled, which the students will hold at fixed times, in strategic places in the territory with to involve the public in the exhibition and in other aspects of contemporary life such as their identity and respect for nature.
In September, the chairs of the Academies’ Photography and Graphics department will work on the production of the catalogue, which will be presented at the end of October.
